Through our fundraising and collaborative research, we
have been highly successful in our efforts to compile
existing biodiversity data; initiate a water quality database
program; pursue inventories for algae, invertebrates,
diatoms, birds and mammals; and fund
research projects on specific groups . However, to
fulfill our goals,
we would like to expand and fund projects in the following
areas:
- Fishes
- Zooplankton
- Impacts of invasive species
- Invasive species removal projects
- Habitat mapping and classification
- Compilation of historical data
- Parasites
- Bacteria
